Wadi Rum

Is a natural tourist valley located in the south of Jordan, 250 km south of the capital Amman and 70 km north of the coastal city of Aqaba near the Jordanian-Saudi border.
It is also called the “Valley of the Moon” due to the similarity of its terrain with that of the Moon.

In 2011, UNESCO included the Wadi Rum Nature Reserve in the list of World Natural Heritage, and in 2019 the International Astronomical Union announced in an international press conference the name of the star (Petra) and the name of the planet that revolves around it as (Wadi Rum).

He has also shot many films in Wadi Rum, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Al Martian. The valley has attracted filmmakers, especially science fiction films that take place on Mars because of the great similarity between the terrain of Wadi Rum and the planet Mars.

Wadi Rum is one of the most deserts. Beautiful and majestic, it is a natural masterpiece with its golden sand dunes by day, and the endless horizon filled with stars by night.

On desert nights far from the pollution and crowding of cities, you will witness the sky as you have never seen it before and you will see it filled with millions of bright, radiant stars twinkling in the dark velvet sky.
